Order of the Common Life
Order of the Common Life is a dispersed monastic order that cultivates spiritual formation, shared rhythms, and missional presence among followers of Jesus. Rooted in ancient practices and future-oriented mission, the Order gathers everyday people into a common rule of life, committed to prayer, simplicity, hospitality, and faithful presence.
Rather than withdrawing from the world, the Order disperses into neighborhoods, cities, and nations—living out a monastic imagination in the midst of everyday life. Through guided formation, seasonal gatherings, and mutual support, members are shaped into communities of love, humility, and gospel witness.
