Angela Lam

Angela Lam is a pastor, advocate, and co-founder of Hagar’s Voice—a nonprofit supporting survivors of clergy sexual abuse and equipping churches to foster cultures of safety and accountability. With over twenty years of experience in pastoral ministry, Angela brings a deep understanding of the complex dynamics of church leadership and the unique vulnerabilities women face in religious spaces. She collaborates closely with licensed social workers and counselors to offer survivor advocacy, particularly in the difficult processes of whistleblowing and disclosure. Angela is committed to breaking silence, restoring dignity, and reimagining spiritual communities where healing and justice walk hand in hand.

Angela Lam, co-founder of Hagar’s Voice

“To enter into the self-sacrificing suffering of Christ is not a violation of ourselves, but an invitation into a freewill engagement with what it means to die to self out of love for others. This is work we are divinely made to do, and we will be super-humanly resourced to accomplish it.”
