Lori Anne Thompson
Lori Anne Thompson is a survivor, advocate, speaker, and writer committed to amplifying the voices of those impacted by abuse and injustice. Her personal journey—marked by childhood and adult trauma, including abuse within faith communities—has deeply shaped her passion for truth-telling and systemic change. After experiencing revictimization by clergy when seeking help, Lori Anne turned her pain into purpose by supporting other survivors through education, advocacy, and professional care. She holds a BSc in kinesiology from Queen’s University and a master’s in child advocacy and policy from Montclair State University, where she is a member of Alpha Epsilon Lambda Honor Society. Lori Anne currently works as a registered kinesiologist and intake specialist for a survivor-centric law firm. A fierce defender of the vulnerable, she is committed to her family, lifelong learning, and helping fellow survivors reclaim agency and hope.
