Michael Adam Beck
Michael Adam Beck is a pastor, professor, and author whose life was radically transformed—from incarceration and addiction to ministry and mission. Alongside his wife, Jill, he co-pastors a network of Fresh Expressions gathering in nontraditional spaces. He directs the Fresh Expressions House of Studies at United Theological Seminary, leads Fresh Expressions Florida, and serves as director of re‑missioning for Fresh Expressions US. Michael is the author of several books, including Painting with Ashes: When Your Weakness Becomes Your Superpower, A Field Guide to Methodist Fresh Expressions, and Contextual Intelligence.
