Oneya Okuwobi
Oneya Okuwobi is a distinguished sociologist and postdoctoral fellow at Rice University’s Religion and Public Life Program, where her research examines how diverse organizations impact racial inequality. A respected voice on equity and leadership, she also serves as teaching pastor at 21st Century Church—a vibrant church plant in Cincinnati, Ohio. Co-author of Multiethnic Conversations: An Eight‑Week Journey Toward Unity in Your Church, Oneya’s work bridges scholarship and practice in multiethnic engagement.
